Wednesday, June 2nd, 2010Still working on my not-so-little project. I’m now on….let me say, 18 of 74 black granny squares. Managed to get 2 skeins of yellow yarn (which I know won’t be enough)–I’ve tried the math in attempts to figure out how many of the skeins I need to use total.*sigh* It’s confusing a little.
In other “news”–why is it so hard to log in to my youtube? oh right, I got something google based and it liked them…maybe I should unlink them and things will be simple again. Ha…I’ll give it more thought
And I need to visit the guys at Sahdow’s work….and draw….and finish the chainmaile bracelets/necklaces…and the crochet stuff….and study…. *hangs head down* spoot!!
Onigiri and new craft
Friday, May 21st, 2010So–I’m working on this pixilated quilt at the moment. the numbers of completed granny squares are as follows:
36/83 yellow (I have to buy more yarn :\ Pity that the skeins are small)
0/74 black (gotta get started)
0/1 red (’nuff said)
11/11 brown—might use a different shade if I ever try to do this again…*sigh* at least one color’s done

Also, the other day I made a coworker an early birthday gift—a cozy for her new phone–looks like a stocking–brown and white striped. She likes it–thank goodness. Took about 3 hours or so.
Still trying to get used to this…place
